This recording is based on the recovery of Octeto Buenos Aires scores, which were burned by Piazzolla himself, as well as the scores of the Octeto La Plata (read more about OLP), which were partially lost during a flood.

Rovira: Inconcluso (Sónico 2019) _ EP 7" 8€
The first recording of the Rovira trio was produced in 1966, when he released the EP “A Roberto Arlt”. Originally Rovira intended to include a fourth piece, which did not fit on the limited space of the disc. In this album, SONICO, here in trio formation, has finished the task begun by Eduardo Rovira, including all four works on the same album.

In December 2019, SONICO recorded their second album, “Eduardo Rovira: Inedito e Inconcluso”. The album was the result of an important project of investigation, transcription and interpretation that recovered 14 pieces based on manuscripts and non-commercial recordings.
